Cardinals nab MU, Lee’s Summit West grad Evan Boehm in fourth round
April 30, 2016 - Evan Boehm became the first Missouri player taken in the 2016 NFL Draft on Saturday when he was picked in the fourth round, No. 128 overall, by Arizona. “I can’t wait to go in and compete and try to earn a spot,” Boehm said on a conference call with reporters in Arizona. “It’s going to be tough, but I’ve got to get in there and learn this offense and be able to compete for a spot. MU’s Evan Boehm, Connor McGovern get Todd McShay’s thumbs up before NFL Draft
April 19, 2016 - ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay believes Missouri could have three players selected in the first four rounds of the 2016 draft, which is set for April 28-30 in Chicago. He seems especially high on the Tigers’ two draft-worthy offensive linemen — center Evan Boehm from Lee’s Summit West and left tackle Connor McGovern, who projects as a guard in the NFL. Titans select Careswell as new football coach
March 2, 2016 - Lee’s Summit West took its time but didn’t have to look far to find a new football coach. Last week, West announced that Vinny Careswell, the Titans defensive coordinator since the program began in 2004, will take over for Royce Boehm, who announced his retirement from the program he started last November.
